Dr. Phillip C. Phan
Dr. Phillip C. Phan is the former assistant professor of Neurosurgery and director of Interventional Neuromodulation and Pain Management at Baylor College of Medicine, BCM. Prior to BCM, Dr. Phan worked with The University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, where he served as director of Interventional Pain Management. Dr. Phan helped to create both its inpatient and outpatient clinical pain treatment programs.
Dr. Phan is a graduate of the BCM Anesthesiology Residency Training Program and completed an interventional pain management fellowship at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. He earned his medical degree from BCM and also received a BA from Rice University.
Dr. Allen W. Burton
Dr. Allen W. Burton is a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist, with added Certification in Pain Medicine. He was formerly Professor and Chairman of the Department of Pain Medicine at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center where he practiced and led the pain program from 2000 to 2010.
Dr. Burton obtained his Bachelor of Science at the University of Notre Dame, Medical Doctorate at BCM, and completed anesthesiology residency at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School serving as the Chief Resident, with a pain fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch. Dr. Burton has written two textbooks and has more than fifty peer– reviewed publications
Angel Eve McClinton, MS, PA-C
Angel Eve McClinton, MS, PA-C, is licensed by the Texas Medical Board as a Physician Assistant and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She received her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies with high honors from the New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, New York in 2010. She has been the recipient of both the New York State Society of Physician Assistants Scholarship and the Physician Assistant Foundation Scholarship from the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She graduated with honors from Baylor University in Waco, Texas in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Biology with a minor in Chemistry.
